Scraped through to Day 2

The two casinos seems to have shot themselves in the foot by running the competing events. Numbers were down drastically at the Genting on previous tournaments with only 51 players entering the Day 1A event and they,ll probably  get a similar number for Day 1b today.
There will still be in the region of £15,000 up for grabs, but there was basically no point have two day 1,s!


I had an early card rush and got a lot of chips early on, then it started to go down hill. I was bleeding chips anyway, then I called a short stacks all in raise with KQc.
She turns K7 and pings a 7.
Then I raised with AK got shipped on by short stack, I called and he flips over Q3 - (thought I was "at it!")
Pings a 3.
I was down to about 6bb when I doubled up with pocket 10s v 9's.
Then I lost AJ v K3 after another short stack shoved pre flop a 3 on the flop proved enough.
I ended day 1A 16th in chips from the 18 left about 20 big blinds. I just haven,t been able to get any traction. Pretty dire, assuming theres another 18 or so going through from today. I,m gonna be one of the shortest stacks left in the 30 to 40 field with probably 8 prizes. Tough!
